Lars Petter Sodergren married Hedvig Sofia Nilsdotter and on April 12, 1861 they had a son, Johan Viktor Sodergren. They lived in Tryserum, Kalmar, Sweden.
I read your blog today. I am Bessie Hemphill Miller's granddaughter. Do you have any more info on the Hemphill family? She told me that the family used to live where the Sharpsburg, MD post office now sits. She passed away in Dec. 1987 at the age of 90 and is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery in Hagerstown, MD.
If you know of any books on the Hemphill geneaology or related articles, I would be interested in reading them.
