Here is a picture of our new little fellow at about a month old. I am thinking that I may see some red hair. It may just be the lights, we will have to wait and see.

Driving down the road we came apon the greatest find ever. Unfortunately I had no money, no place to put it, no way to get it home and my husband would have killed me if I showed up with it.....

rope bed

The price on this beautiful bed was $150. The last time I saw a bed like this was in an antique shop for $600 and it was green.

On a side note, there was also this great rocker.

I just had to share my new china cabinet. I purchased it last month but it took us this long to figure out that we needed to have it delivered. I am so excited. Now I have a place to put the china that I purchased. :)

queen ann china cabinet

Shopping for this cabinet was an experience. The only specification that I had was that I wanted Queen Ann legs. That was all. You would think that I was asking for the stars. Of all the furniture shops, antique store, thrift shops and even new furniture stores, this was the only one that I found. The best part was that it was in my price range..... thankfully.

Now I can save and start looking for a dining room table and chairs to match. :)

So, now it's Little Man's turn to get sick. We don't get much of that but when we do, it shuts everything down.

Anyway, he had run a fever for the last two days and this morning it finally broke. He still has the sniffles and some crazy chapped lips but he is feeling much better. We will still be keeping him home for the next couple of days just to make sure that it's nothing catchy. Thankfully there was no vomiting or diarrhea with it and his appetite held out and he was able to drink lots of juice and water.

Thanks to everyone that prayed for him and called to wish him well. Thanks especially to my mother, who as always is the "best mother ever", for coming over and helping with house work and bringing our version of chicken soup. :)

Here is a place that I can add movies so that my children can see them without wandering off of our own site. :)

Well, this post should go with the rabbits but since Sissy made it extra special by breaking her arm, I am posting under General.

Yes, for those that haven't heard, Sissy broke her arm. We were at Snow Hill and she was showing off her rope (the one she made at Landis Valley). The children were using it to climb trees. Then, once the adults went into the house, the children, led by my own daughter, decided that they should climb the building instead.

It all ended very quickly. Sissy was the first to try to climb the rope that was hanging from a flat edged projection sticking out of the side of the building. As soon as she took her feet off of the ground, the rope slipped off.... and down she came.

Keep in mind that this child is taking self defense class and one of the first things that they learn is how to fall... so as NOT to break anything. Well, she stuck out her arm to break her fall and just above the wrist, the arm is what broke.

So, as you can see she is sporting a very sturdy, pink cast. She will be showing that off for the next 6 weeks or so.

And yes, we did have a conversation about Not climbing unless there is an adult available. :) I think that she has learned a great lesson here.

Now, about the picture: Sissy is helping to Spruce Up the Rabbit House. We decided that the walls will be much easier to clean if they are painted. It took a bucket of paint to cover the wall twice from ceiling to just above the floor. We will get another type of paint for the floor.

Poor Curly was sick today. She must have had too much excitement over the weekend. She was so cute laying on the couch all day with her big bowl (for you know what). She didn't want her dolls, books or even to color until well after lunch.

Curly's sick day

We hope that our little cheerful cutie will be fully recovered by the morning!
